| 1.30pm - 4.00pm Sydney 2000 Reunion - come and re-live "the time of our lives" |
All Vollies welcome! Come and spend the day at Sydney Olympic Park to re-live the magic from Sydney 2000. Visit the Olympic Stadium and find your name on the volunteer poles from 1:30pm. Then catch up with your fellow volunteers with a free barbeque at the Sydney Showground from 2pm. There will be ushers at Sydney Olympic Park on the day to direct Volunteers to the relevant events around the park.
Dress: Sydney 2000 accreditation lanyard & volunteer shirts!! Public transport recommended.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the ‘best Olympic Games ever’
Presented by the Powerhouse Discovery Centre
Enjoy an Open Day program of tours, talks and family activities focused on the largest museum collection of Sydney 2000 Games ‘memorabilia’, including the actual Olympic Torch used by Cathy Freeman to light the Olympic Cauldron, costumes worn by Nikki Webster, Kylie Minogue & hundreds of performers, the oversized Australian Icons and plenty more.
Highlights will include a very special behind-the-scenes tour of the Ceremonies costumes with Sydney Ceremony costume designer Jennifer Irwin, plus the opportunity for kids and families to participate in ‘the winner is …’ photo activity where you can have your photo taken as a ‘medal winner’ on our original Gold, Silver & Bronze Olympic Medal podiums.
General admission; $8/$5/$25 (family).
