WHAT’S ON
VOLUNTEERS’ REUNION (for Sydney 20000 volunteers only)
1.30pm
Arrive at Sydney Olympic Park by free public transport
Find your name on the Volunteer Poles, next to ANZ Stadium
2.00pm – 4.00pm
- Drop into ANZ Stadium to see the magic of Sydney 2000 on the big screens.
Stroll to the Volunteers Reunion for the free BBQ and catch up with your fellow volunteers. (Ushers will be in place to give you a hand to help you find the functional group you volunteered for).
4pm – 7.30pm
FREE CONCERT
(open to public) for more information go to www.olympics.com.au. Free Concert in The Overflow, Sydney Olympic Park
Athlete interviews, highlights of Sydney 2000 Games, entertainment from the Ceremonies, performances by Marcia Hines, John Paul Young and Nikki Webster.
5.30pm: Official Proceedings
Arrival of the Olympic Flags & re-lighting of the Olympic Cauldron by Cathy Freeman & Louise Sauvage.
